Oatmeal for weight loss

One thing I learned in my weight loss success journey was to not skip breakfast.  After all my research, the winner of the best source of health benefits was oatmeal. Trust me, I wasn't happy about it when I learned this because I was never a fan of oatmeal, so I had to find a fun way of making it yummy and pretty so that I would look forward to it every morning and I came up with my very own Cookies and Cream Oatmeal Parfait! And you just wait till' you try it, you'll be hooked on it every morning just like me, ha!

It's super easy to make, I prep it in 10 minutes for my entire week and I just grab one cup each morning from the fridge one hour before my workout.  The ingredients listed below are based on one serving. 


1 cup oats

1 1/2 cups almond milk

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1 Scoop Muscleology Nitro-Pro Extreme, Cookies And Cream (This is my favorite brand because is sweetened with splenda)

1 handfull of your favorite granola

1 handfull of your favorite berries


Add oats to your cup. Mix milk, protein powder and cinnamon in a separate cup. Add to the oats, do not stir. When the milk covers the oats, top with granola and berries. Ready to eat! Enjoy!
